Church Funds
General Fund: To fund the general running of the ministries of the church. 12% of the giving to this Fund is set aside to support the ongoing ministries of our mission partners.
Care Fund: To provide financial support for church members going through challenging times or crises, for asylum seekers, for refugees and for any emergency relief initiatives.
Mission Project Fund: To support mission-related projects initiated by church members, existing mission partners and other eligible applicants as approved by the Missions Committee.
Capital Project Fund: To fund the capital and maintenance projects of the church.
St Andrew’s Church is a registered charity and is entitled to exemption under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (CAP. 112). A deduction is granted for tax purposes under the Inland Revenue Ordinance for donations of money made to ‘St Andrew’s Church’. Donations over HKD100 are tax-deductible, and up to 35% of the assessable income may be claimed. If you are a first-time or occasional giver and want a tax receipt issued to you, please mark your name (as shown on your HKID card) and your full mailing address on an Offering Envelope or email the receipt information to info@standrews.org.hk.
